![]() Let me tell you, The Vault 1905 Sports Grill is a hidden secret. After spending our morning learning about lawmen who hunted down robbers, it seemed like the perfect coupling to our day of adventures in Fort Smith. I researched using some of my usual tourism tools and found recommendations for a sports bar inside an old bank. I’ve heard much about the revitalization of the historic district of this Western Arkansas town and decided it was time for us to see it for ourselves. Marshals Museum in Fort Smith, my dad and I stopped in downtown Van Buren to grab lunch. What she didn’t know, she took the time to ask to find out the right information and we appreciated that when it comes to food allergies.After a recent visit to the U.S. She took good care of us and answered any questions we had. This place has a diner type of feel and it was hopping prior to noon. The crab fried rice was awesome! The Mahi sandwich was great also, we relaxed and took our time. The entrees were delivered hot and executed very well. My lady chose a grilled Mahi sandwich and the fried shrimp with crab fried rice caught my attention. We ordered the fried okra and a coffee cocktail to get started. We were seated and the menu boasted quite a selection. ![]() We missed breakfast this particular day but they do brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Seafood, cocktails, fresh creative takes, and any place that has the smoker rolling when you walk. Page’s really did well to check all the boxes. Looking for an excellent spot to kick off our holiday in Charleston we sought out a great casual dining experience. We were in good heaven, and a good coma! Steve and Amanda were so attentive and an utter pleasure. No idea how we had room, but ordered a gigantic slice of moist delicious carrot cake (took 75 percent with us). There wasn't one dud, and each item was sheer down home Southern perfection. I took the Fried Okra, which was like 30 pieces, the best Collards and creamy and amazing Mashed potatoes. We also shared the Fried Chicken Dinner that had two huge pieces that were perfectly seasoned and juicy (they brine). It came with two sides (we took the crabrice, which was really good, and the delicious Cole slaw and a perfect biscuit. Shared the Black Angus ribeye steak that was perfectly and huge. So, wife and I landed on an opening shareable Seafood Mac and cheese that's loaded with Andouille Sausage and Shrimp mixed in with an incredible bechamel cheese sauce, topped with breadcrumbs. and then the places manager, Steve chimed in as well! He had more taken the time to explain the restaurant's expertise. Our food server, Amanda, came over to help us with all of her recommendations of which direction. I did a lot of searching to find the restaurant that would give me when I needed which was genuine Southern cuise, and landed hopefully on this spot.
